AV Setup

AV SETUP

On arrival at the venue I can see its a large one with a seating arena and back of house lighting desk located at the side of the arena.
For the AV desk there is a table located on the second floor to the side of the performance and within good range of the show.
On the night of the performance 3 large screens will be placed on the second floor above the performers, there will be 1 visuals desk and a smaller visuals mixer for live video feeds.
Most of the performances use pre-recorded visuals that are not midi synced, in order to make the videos seem in time they are played on Que bye a command heard on the headphones.
The videos are all listed in playing order when the command is heard from the headphones the video input channel is selected and the video is faded in using the master fader handle. The video program used to play the visuals also has a timer so its possible to see how long the performance and visual have left, this is to make sure you are ready when the performance ends.
The smaller visuals mixer will have all of the live video inputed and will have a row of buttons to switch between shots.

A CSM video interlude has also been pre recorded and kept on loop this is to build atmosphere in-between performances and maintain the atmosphere.
